Do I get money or tokens back if I cancel?

That depends on how you paid.

Paid with tokens

If you cancel in time, your tokens return to your balance. In time means: before the activity's transaction deadline. The organization sets that deadline, for example 24 hours in advance.

If you cancel later, the charge has already been made and the tokens stay used.

Some memberships have their own, more generous cancellation window. If you have such a membership, you can cancel longer and still keep your tokens.

Paid with your membership

Nothing was charged separately, so nothing needs to come back. Your spot opens up for someone else.

Paid online

Money you paid with iDEAL, credit card, or direct debit is not refunded automatically. Contact the organization for that; they set their own cancellation terms and handle the refund.

Not paid yet

If you cancel before checkout has happened, the outstanding order is canceled by itself. You do not have to do anything.
