DoToo
Getting started

Roles in DoToo

Who sees and can do what, from participant to admin.

What you see in DoToo depends on your role. Your dashboard, your menu, and the buttons on a dotoo differ per role.

Participant

You join activities. You can view an organization's calendar, sign up for dotoos, pay, and find your own sign-ups under My dotoos and Orders. If you use memberships or tokencards, you see your balance on your dashboard.

Staff

Staff manage the day-to-day of an organization: tracking tickets and attendance, viewing members, and chatting with participants. In the menu you see Dotoos, Tickets, and Members, among other items.

What a staff member can change is set by an admin per person. By default, a new staff member can only view. See Staff and permissions.

Admin

An admin can do everything a staff member can, plus the business settings. Some actions are admin-only: archive a dotoo, give someone a different role, set staff permissions, and archive members.

DoToo administrator

This is the DoToo team itself. They manage the platform and can, for example, turn modules on or off for a business. If you need something only they can do, ask for it via Support.

Guides are not a separate role

You can attach staff as a guide to a dotoo, group, or template. That is information for participants, not extra permissions and not a sign-up. What those guides are called depends on your business type: trainer, teacher, facilitator, or guide. See Guides.
