Wall of fame

A board with the best score per exercise, and a personal score list for every member.

The wall of fame is a digital whiteboard with your business's records: for every exercise the best score, with the name and photo of whoever set it. Members also keep track of their own scores. Useful for a gym or a PT studio, for example.

Turn it on

The wall of fame is a module and is off by default. Only a DoToo administrator can turn it on, at Settings → Modules with the Wall of fame switch. Want to use the wall of fame? Ask for it through Support. See also Turn modules on and off.

If the module is turned off later, the wall of fame disappears from the menu. The exercises and scores stay saved.

Where you find it

When the module is on, members, staff, and admins see Wall of fame in the menu. The business page also has a Wall of fame button.

You only see the wall of fame of the business you have selected. If you belong to more than one business, first switch business on My profile. See Choose a business and your dashboard.

The wall of fame has tabs at the top:

  • Wall of fame: the board with the records.
  • My scores: your own scores. See My scores.
  • Manage: exercises, columns, segments, and all scores. Only staff and admins see this tab. See Manage the wall of fame.

The board

The board consists of columns side by side, for example Strength, WODs, and Cardio. On a small screen you scroll sideways to see the other columns. If the business has not created any columns, all exercises share one column.

Each column lists the exercises that have a record. For every exercise you see the best score, with the photo and name of whoever holds it. Hover over a record to see the day the score was set.

If the business uses segments, such as Men and Women, every exercise has a record per segment, each in the color of that segment. A segment without a score yet shows No record yet. The business can hide the segment names; the colors stay.

A few things to know:

  • Only scores the business put on the wall of fame count. A score you log yourself only goes on the wall once the business approves it.
  • Whether a higher or a lower score is better depends on the exercise. For a time, faster is usually better; for a weight, more is.
  • When several people share exactly the same best score, the score shows once with everyone who holds it.
  • Your own records are highlighted and show You instead of your name.

As long as there are no scores on the wall of fame, you see No scores on the wall of fame yet.

Record holders

Above the columns you see Record holders: the members with the most records on the board, each with their number of records. If the business uses segments, every segment gets its own row, even when the business hides the segment names on the board.

  • Each row shows at most ten record holders.
  • Places 1, 2, and 3 get a gold, silver, or bronze medal. People with the same number of records share a place.
  • A record you share with someone else counts for both of you.
  • Hover over a record holder to see which exercises they hold the record for.

If a row does not fit on your screen, page through it with the arrows next to the row, or swipe sideways on your phone.

For staff and admins

Staff and admins see a Log a score button above the board, to enter a score for a member right away. How that works is explained in Manage the wall of fame.

You also decide the order of the exercises in a column. Click the sort button in the column header; it appears as soon as the column has more than one exercise. Every exercise then gets up and down arrows. Click the button in the header again when you are done.
