Pay
The organization decides which payment methods you see. On an activity, the ticket always shows what it costs and how you can pay.
Checkout
Before you pay, you see an Order summary with what you are getting and the Amount due. Checkout takes you to Stripe's secure payment page. There you choose, for example, iDEAL, a credit card, or direct debit. After paying you return to DoToo on the thank-you page.
If you are not signed in and you are allowed to check out as a guest, you first fill in First name, Last name, Email, and Phone. If you already have an account, use the Login button in the notice at the top.
Your e-mail address is already known to us
Do you check out as a guest with an e-mail address that has been used with DoToo before, for example because you once signed up as a guest? Then you do not go straight to the payment page. You see the Check your e-mail notice and receive an e-mail to complete your order. Use the button in that e-mail to continue to the payment page. This way we know the e-mail address is yours.
- The link is valid for 24 hours. If it has expired, check out again.
- Once the order is paid, the link no longer works. You will find the confirmation in your e-mail.
- You can also log in instead. If you never chose a password, choose Forgot password when you log in.
- Got such an e-mail without ordering anything? You do not need to do anything: nothing happens unless the link is opened.
Account required
Some organizations only accept participants with an account. For a ticket you then see no guest form, but the Not logged in notice with the Login button.
Letting a membership be charged automatically
When you pay for a membership, you see a Recurring payment notice. If you want later installments collected automatically, choose SEPA Direct Debit on Stripe's payment page, or pay by credit card and check Save my payment information.
Paying on site
If payment is set to On site, you pay in person at the organization. Your order stays waiting in the app until a staff member marks it as paid.
Paying with tokens
If the organization uses tokencards, a ticket costs a number of tokens. Those are deducted from your balance. Your balance is on your dashboard.
Some organizations also let you sign up when your balance is still too low. The tokens are then deducted later, shortly before the activity.
Paying with your membership
If the activity is included in your membership, you do not need to check out. Your order then shows Membership as the payment method.
Checkbook
Some organizations keep a checkbook: a balance they manage for you. You do not top it up yourself in the app; the organization handles top-ups and charges.
Free
If an activity costs nothing, you just sign up. Your order shows Free.
Not paid right away?
If an order stays open, you get a reminder about it by email. See Unpaid orders.
