QR codes and scanning

Let orders be confirmed with a QR code and scan it at the door.

With QR codes you quickly check at the door whether someone is signed up.

Turn it on

Go to Settings → Orders & Tokens and turn on Order QR codes.

From that moment, participants get a QR code in their confirmation email, and Scan appears in the menu for staff.

Scanning

Choose Scan in the menu. A Scan QR code window opens and the camera of your phone or tablet turns on.
Have the participant show the QR code from the email with the subject U bent aangemeld voor ....
Once the code is recognized, Scan result appears.

In that screen you see which activity it is, the order details, and the tickets that belong to it. With View order you open the full order, with Scan another one you continue to the next person, and with Close you stop.

The QR code belongs to the whole order, not to one person. If someone bought multiple tickets in one order, you see them all on one screen after scanning.

Scanning shows the order, but does not automatically mark anyone present. Want to record attendance? Do that in the participant list of the activity. See Tickets and attendance.

Give your device access to the camera; without that permission the scanner cannot start. If it fails, a message appears with the reason, for example that another app is already using the camera.

No QR code at hand?

You can also just look participants up in the participant list of the activity and register their attendance there. See Tickets and attendance.
