Manage members
If you use the Members module, Members is in your menu.
The member list
You can search by name and email address, and filter on Type and Status. By default you only see active members; you find archived members by changing Status.
From the menu behind a member you jump straight to their Dotoos, Memberships, Notes, or Checkbook. Which of those you see depends on your modules.
A member's profile
On a member's profile you find, depending on your modules:
- contact details
- memberships
- token balance and token transactions
- checkbook balance
- the dotoos they signed up for
- their groups
- notes
- their orders
Notes
Record details on a member, for example an injury or an agreement. You can add a note from the member list or directly from the attendee list of an activity. The member's notes page has the full history.
Send a new password
Can't a member get in? Choose Reset password in the menu behind that member. They get an email to set a new password.
Role, permissions, and archiving
Make someone staff, decide what a staff member can do, or archive a member: you do that in the three-dot menu on the member's profile. See Staff and permissions.
You cannot create a member yourself
People register themselves as a member through your public page at /register. At Settings → Modules you set with Who can register as a member how that works:
- Open registration — anyone can register right away
- Require membership — people are first sent to your memberships
