Stripe and payment options
Online payments in DoToo go through Stripe. You find the settings at Settings → Payments.
Turn on Stripe
The main switch Stripe payments decides whether online paying is possible. When it is on, you can choose per part:
- Membership payments
- Product payments
- Tokencard payments
Paid tickets for activities go through the main switch.
If you turn Stripe payments off, those three switches turn off as well and you cannot turn them back on. At the top you'll then see the message Stripe payments are off.
Your Stripe keys
At the top of the tab you'll find Publishable key, Secret key, and Webhook signing secret, but those fields stay empty. For security reasons, DoToo does not show your keys here and you cannot change them here either. Want to connect Stripe or have your keys updated? Ask for that through Support.
Which payment methods your participants get
| Payment method | When |

| Online with Stripe | Stripe is on for this part. On the payment page, participants choose for example iDEAL or credit card |
| Direct debit with Stripe | For recurring payments, such as memberships |
| On site | Participants pay with you; you mark the order as paid |
| Tokens | The ticket costs tokens from a tokencard |
| Membership | The ticket is linked to the participant's membership |
| Checkbook | You charge the amount against a member's checkbook balance |
| Free | There is nothing to pay |
Which ones you can use depends on your modules. Without Stripe, only on site and free remain.
Default payment type
When you create an order yourself, DoToo uses the Default order payment type you set here. You can change it per order.
Invoices
The details on your invoices come from Settings → General. Fill in your legal name, address, CoC number, VAT number, and bank details completely.
