Become a member of an organization

For some activities you only need an account. For others you must be a member of the organization. Becoming a member happens on that organization's public page.

Registering

1. Open the organization's page: play.dotoo.app/businesses/name-of-the-business.
2. Choose Register now, or go straight to /register after the same link.
3. On that page there is a Register with button followed by the organization's name. If you are not signed in yet, DoToo first asks for your email address.
4. Confirm in the window that you want to register.

After that, the organization is in your workspace and you can reach their offering from your dashboard.

Two ways organizations set this up

What you see on the registration page depends on that organization's Who can register as a member setting.

Open registration. You confirm and you are a member right away.

Require membership. Instead of a registration button you see View membership options. You are then sent to the organization's memberships; once you take one, you are a member. See Memberships and tokencards.

Becoming a member by buying something

If you buy a membership or a tokencard from an organization you are not a member of yet, you become a member automatically as soon as your payment comes through. This applies with both settings above. If you ended your registration earlier, you are a member again afterwards.

What membership gives you

• activities set to Members only show up on the calendar
• you can sign up for tickets with the Members registration requirement
• you can use that organization's memberships and tokencards
• you can chat with the organization and receive their newsletters

Ending your registration

1. Go back to play.dotoo.app/businesses/name-of-the-business/register.
2. It now says You are already registered at this business.
3. At the bottom it says Remove registration with .... Click that and confirm.
