DoToo
Getting started

What is DoToo?

A platform for activities, where organizations publish their offering and participants sign up.

DoToo is a platform that lets organizations publish their activities and lets participants sign up for them. Think sports classes, training sessions, workshops, courses, children's activities, or events.

You use DoToo in the app at play.dotoo.app.

A dotoo is an activity

Everything in DoToo revolves around the dotoo: one scheduled activity with a date, time, and location. A dotoo can:

  • be one-off or part of a recurring schedule
  • be free or paid
  • be on location or online
  • consist of one session or multiple dates

What an organization does

An organization creates dotoos, decides which tickets people can use to sign up, and how many spots there are. The calendar lives on a public page that the organization can share. The organization also keeps track of members, sign-ups, and orders.

What a participant does

As a participant you open an organization's calendar, sign up for a dotoo, and pay if needed. Your sign-ups then appear under My dotoos, your purchases under Orders.

Not every part is turned on

A large part of DoToo lives in separate modules: memberships, tokencards, products, groups, checkbook, and newsletters. Each organization chooses which of those it uses.

See something in this guide that you cannot find in your environment? Then your organization does not use that module. See Modules.
